It was just one of those days, one of those days that he didn’t like. Cupping a hand over his brow, Tobias squinted into the sun, trying to shield his eyes as best as he could. The glass of the window probably magnified the effects. Why did it have to be so hot all of a sudden? He would gladly welcome the day when suddenly that sun was hidden behind a shroud of black, and the rain came pouring down to bring reprieve to this heat. He could watch the children playing in the puddles from his bedroom window, feel the cool wind as it swept in, caressing at his cheeks. For a moment there he almost convinced himself that it was cold, that the soft ticklish trickle of water running down the nape of his neck wasn’t sweat but the first few droplets of rain. But as he lowered his eyes, feeling the sting of the sun and the coloured circle in his gaze reminded him that they were still in the middle of a heat wave, and he was shirtless and melted against the couch. The heat got to him like nothing else as he slowly lifted himself off the couch, only to end up sprawled out on the floor. At least it was cool against his skin, he mused with a rueful smile.
“What are you doing?” That voice registered in his ears, and with a slight groan he signalled that he had heard. He just couldn’t be bothered rolling over onto his back to look at the owner of that voice, let alone reply with anything more than a grunt. He was melting, that was all he knew. He wasn’t going to survive this day, not by a long shot. “Come on, get up.” Matt breathed out a soft sigh, brushing his hair back from in front of his eyes and tucking it behind his ear. Flopping down into the couch, he extended one of his lower limbs, nudging at Tobias’s lifeless form with his toes. “Stop being a whinge. It’s a perfectly beautiful day out today! Wouldn’t you like to out?” Lifting himself up, he moved across to the window, stepping over the dead thing on the floor to crack open a window. “No don’t do that! You’ll let all the hot air in!” Tobias suddenly sprung to life, lifting himself up on his hands. Matt turned, raising an eyebrow at his little acquaintance. It was most likely warmer in here that it was outside, since this man had been skulking around all day. With a sigh Matt relented and slowly nodded his head, letting Tobias collapse back with another groan. There was no living with him when he was like this. Making his way to the kitchen, Matt stepped over him again, noting that he had managed to plonk himself right in the middle of the main traffic way, uttering a soft ‘Tch’ as he did so. The freezer cracked open with the slight tug, the cool air a nice reprieve from the heat. Why hadn’t Tobias thought about coming over here and standing in front of the fridge? Probably because he would break it from excessive use, Matt mused, deciding not to let the other man cotton on to his little discovery. Reaching in, Matt managed the scrape some of the ice from the side, curling it into a little ball in his hand, feeling it burn his skin with a small smile of delight. Gathering as much ice as he could stand to hold, Matt bumped the door shut with his shoulder, and proceeded to walk calmly back to the living room, balancing his little snowball between slowly freezing fingers.
“Tobias…” Matt called softly in a little sing song voice, playfully hiding his secret treasure behind his back as the man begrudgingly looked up with a disgruntled ‘Nn?’. Sitting on the couch, Matt smiled and pouted, taping his knee with an open palm. “Come here, stop being silly.” Tobias snorted at being treated so childishly, but when it came to Matt, he really couldn’t find it within himself to refuse him. The guy might have acted childishly, but he was anything but. Picking himself up from the floor, and most likely the body shaped warm patch that had sapped all the cold out of the tile, Tobias made his way over to the couch, tenderly seating himself on Matt’s lap. “I’ll make you feel better.” The other man cooed in his ear from over his shoulder, as his pride had made him turn his back to Matt. “Yeah Ye-ah!” Tobias felt his back arch with a violent jolt as something touched his skin. “What the hell was that?” he demanded, his embracement masked by false anger. Cheekily, Matt brandished a little ball of ice as he pressed it to his shoulder again, running down along the curve of his shoulder blade, back up along the ridge of his spine and across the nape of his neck. “This will cool you down ne?” Matt smiled, and Tobias could hear the mushy, caring lilt to that voice. “Yeah.” He smiled back, allowing his eyelids to flicker closed, content with the cool water running over his skin as the ice melted against his back. The ice wasn’t going to last much longer, he could tell without even seeing it, as the ice block seemed to wilt, and Matt’s fingers were grazing across his flesh on the cool path. “Shall I warm you up again?” Matt teased as he brushed those long locks of hair back away, exposing Tobias’s neck. Tobias could feel that cool breath against his neck with a shiver, a soft noise passing his lips. Need, maybe, wanting. Either way, he felt his skin prickle and tingle with those goose bumps, the soft little rivulets of melt ice slowly being lapped away. The familiar sensation of Matt’s tongue against his skin made him shiver, despite the heat down thrumming through him. “Matt…” He started. He should tell him that that was a very poor attempt at cooling him down, and now he was more hot and bothered than before. But the words didn’t even make it to his lips before they were stolen away with a gasp, a soft groan as that tongue worked devilishly at the nape of his neck, up along his throat, flicking across his earlobe. “What is it?” Matt purred in his ear, before drawing his lips back to softly nip at the flesh, his still chill hands working their way around Tobias’s waist, sliding across his skin, and torturously slow up his torso. He could feel the other man’s skin prickle, his nipples harden with chill and temptation as he ran his hands across his chest, teasing, embracing. “Matt…” Tobias murmured again, his voice hoarse as it passed his lips. Dammit, it wasn’t going to happen this way! “Kiss me Tobias,” That little demand, spoken in those soft words. He turned his head, feeling the little rasp of Matt’s tongue on his lips. Not this time.
Curling an arm around him, Tobias grinned a minxish smile as his fingers twined within those locks of hair, forcing that mouth closer to his. Crushing their lips together in a hard kiss, Tobias drew Matt’s tongue into his mouth with his own, feeling the wet appendages working together, winding, caressing. He felt Matt stiffen beneath him, his bare feet losing their grip on the tiled floor as he slipped down against the couch. Drawing back for air, Tobias grinned, turning himself around, grinning as he lay down upon Matt’s stunned still form, the man obviously confused how he had just gone from top to bottom in a matter of seconds. “Tobias?” His voice escaped his lips in a soft little whimper, startling him as his breath was stolen away each time he managed to recover it. He felt those fingers pull at the waist band of his pants, popping the button and drawing down the zipper, exposing the skin of his abdomen to the humid air, and those touches. Matt closed his eyes, chewing on his lower lip as he felt those fingertips run up and graze nails along the lines of the black ink upon his skin. How did this happen? Well, it wasn’t as this was the first time this switch had happened, swapping from one to another in a moment. They had that kind of understanding relationship. “Hah!” he heard the noise escape his lips before he realised it had been him, his whole body rocking with a shiver as Tobias worked a hand down his pants, caressing with those fingers between his thighs. “Idiot.” The insult passed without any threat, and Matt forfeited himself to those attentions. It wasn’t just that hand, rubbing along his sensitive flesh, those lips, that devilish tongue had been lowered, lapping at the salt from his skin, running along the soft ripple of his muscular stomach, swirling around his navel, and then upwards to claim a nipple in those teeth. That touch continued along the rise of his collar bone, tracing the increasing pounding of his pulse in his throat. “S-stop.” He whimpered, opening his eyes to see that same face that he saw so often crying in passion, now looking at him with a hunger in his eyes. “it’s enough of that.” He whimpered breathily, lifting his arms up and beckoning Tobias closer, wanting to enfold him in his arms. Tobias smiled and understood, slowly withdrawing his hand from inside Matt’s pants with an over dramatic flourish, running his tongue between his index and middle finger. Shifting, Matt lifted his hips, allowing those fingers to pry under the waistband, feeling the material shift and slid ever so slowly down the quivering flesh of his thighs. Tobias’s hands were instantly there, running those soft touches over the curve of his buttocks, a soft appreciative purr echoing out from under that smirk. Matt felt his cheeks redden, the warmth spreading out all the way through his body. Impatiently he bucked his hips against those hands, uttering a soft whimper. “Just do it.” He whispered softly, panting for breath, his excitement and nerves growing as fast as his arousal.
Tobias didn’t even give himself enough time to remove his own trousers, giving in to Matt’s pleas with a popped button, open zipper and a shift of his boxer shorts. “Ah-hah!” The deep flushed warmed his cheeks as he felt that first obedient nudge against the tight ring of muscles in his backside. “Nngh!” The initial shock gave way to a soft sigh as those loving lips were dusted across his cheek, and his body relaxed, accepting the intrusion little bit by little bit, until Tobias assured him that it was all him, all there. “Fuck.” The curse left his lips, a strong shudder running through his body. The feint sting of pain slowly ebbed, his rational mind distracted by the heat within him, the slow but determined movements as Tobias rolled his hips backwards and forwards, driven by practice an instinct. “Tobi- Ah! Nn… ah, ah!” He panted, arching upwards as a deep thrust grazed that spot within him, sending a fire along his spine and back, aching at his arousal and his kiss swollen lips. Those strong arms slid under the small of his back, holding him close as they rocked together, panted together and screamed together.
Slowly the world came back into focus, the bright light streaming out through the windows, slowly ebbing as his mind registered the time of day. “Mmn.” A contented murmur echoed through his blackened focus until he rolled his gaze up, finding Tobias standing by an open window, sweat rolling from his skin, hair dampened and slicked across his forehead. Driven by the heat he’d removed his pants, wondering around, safely tucked back into his boxers. “I’m hot again.” The man murmured as he turned over his shoulder, obviously hearing Matt stir. A sly smile crossed his lips as he wandered back, sitting down on the couch, leaning over to claim those lips in another kiss. “You know…” Matt voiced with a slight smile, propping himself up on his elbows. “You stay a lot cooler when you’re just lying there.”
“Idiot,” Was the affectionate reply, before a jolt ran through him, the cold ice pressed against his bare chest.
