They used to think that the world was flat. They thought that earth just stopped being, that the ocean’s water rushed over the edge like a waterfall. And that one could topple over the edge, back and forth, before forever falling into some unknown void.
They were wrong.
Others later discovered that our planet was in fact round. There was no edge, for where you’d expect the edge to be, it just connected back up with the other side… like a child’s toy ball. The earth was a sphere.
And they were almost right…
…except for the fact that they were wrong.
Have you ever been in that place somewhere between reality and dreams? The place where everything seems so real, yet not quite. It’s kind of like that. There are places on our planet that aren’t accessible to the casual eye. Its not like these places are invisible, they simply aren’t there… until you are. Kind of like the world expands when you walk into it. Like a door standing in the middle of nowhere, but when you open it, another place is there.
This means the earth isn’t round. It’s more of a badly distorted oval – at least as far as I can tell. Perhaps one day someone will discover that even I am wrong.
How do I know this? Because I’ve been there.
