A.N: We skipped a year so now they're 13-14 years old
Chapter 6
"HELL NO! I'M NOT GONNA DO THIS! THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL THAT I'MA COME OUT OF THIS ROOM! LEAVE ME ALONE! NOOOOO!" T.K screamed as her dad carried her down the stairs.
"T.K., calm down! It's your birthday! You should be happy!" her mother screamed from behind her, tying the bow of T.K's lilac dress. She adjusted T.K's zipper and did a double check to see that everything was okay. 'I'm so gonna kill Mimy for this... I should never have let her pick my clothes yesterday,' T.K. thought, remembering the day before.
"You know it's your birthday tomorrow," Mimy told T.K. over breakfast.
"Yeah... so what's your point?" T.K. asked her.
"It means SHOPPING!" Mimy screamed at her. Their mother nodded.
"We are going shopping for an outfit for you to wear tomorrow. We're leaving after breakfast," she informed them. T.K groaned.
"It'll be fun, don't worry... I'll even help you pick out an outfit!" Mimy told her. T.K just ignored her and finished her breakfast. Once everyone was finished, they put their plates on the sink and their mother led the way out to their car. They arrived at the mall in around 5-10 minutes.
"Can I pick out your clothes? Please, Please, PLEASE?!" Mimy begged T.K. She thought about it for a minute and then nodded since she didn't really like shopping.
"Fine, but nothing pink," T.K. warned her. Mimy squealed and nodded right away, leaving towards the different racks in the store in top speed. After waiting for around 15 minutes, Mimy finally comes back. She was holding a white and lilac dress. It was a spaghetti strap dress with lilac fabric on the top and bottom of the dress. The rest was white with flowers around it.
'Oh Hell No!' T.K. mentally screamed when she saw the dress.
“Dash and Usagi should be here any second, so don’t worry,” her mother told her. T.K. just crossed her arms over her chest and glared at Mimy. Mimy in turn just gave her a big grin and sat down next to her.
“This is gonna be so much fun, huh?” Mimy asked her. T.K. stayed silent and tuned her out. When she tuned her back in she just heard the last part of the one sided conversation.
“… so then Usagi put on the make up when I told her not to and guess what? She got a whole lot of pimples, just like I told her she would if she had put it on, but does she listen to me? NOO! She never does, I swear I don’t know what she’ll do without me, I always keep warning her but she just doesn’t listen to me,” Mimy finished with a sigh.
“Well, you’re not really one of the brightest bulb in the package you know,” T.K. pointed out. Mimy just stared at her with a blank expression.
“You know… not the brightest bulb…” T.K. trailed off. Mimy stared at her in confusion.
“IT MEANS YOU’RE NOT SMART!” T.K. exclaimed.
“HEY! That’s mean!” Mimy told her, hitting T.K. on the shoulder.
“Oh... Don’t get started with me!” T.K. yelled at her, standing up from the couch and glared down at her.
“You do know that you don’t look intimidating at all, right?” Dash asked her from the doorway. He was wearing pair of black slacks with a chain hanging from one side, a gray long-sleeve button up shirt with a tie, and black dress shoes. He had his hair combed back and the ends reached his nape.
“Shut up! I do look scary!” T.K told him.
“Dude, you look like a chick… you don’t look scary,” Dash pointed out. T.K. was about to retort but Usagi interrupted her.
“Aww… you look so cute T.K.,” Usagi gushed from behind Dash. She was wearing a knee-length pink dress with white 3-inch heels, which made her almost as tall as Dash, who was 5’5”. She had her brown hair down falling in ringlets to her waist. She had applied some eyeliner and light pink eye shadow.
“No one asked you,” Dash told her, pushing her to the side. Usagi stumbled a bit and pushed him back, hard. Dash crashed into the doorway and stumbled into the room.
“That’s what happens when you have a cow for a sister,” Dash told T.K and Mimy.
“Stop being mean to your sister Dash,” Mamaru told him. Dash just rolled his eyes and nodded his head.
“So, at what time is everyone else coming?” Dash asked T.K., making his way to stand besides her.
“What the fuck should I know?” T.K. asked him. Dash just shrugged and waited. After a few minutes, T.K.’s father came down and started talking to Mamaru.
“Ok, so I’ll leave you with the kids… I can’t believe I have to go, but oh well, job to do and people to save… so her friends are supposed to start arriving in around an hour so I guess you’ll just have to wait or something,” he told Mamaru. Mamaru just nodded.
“So where is your wife?” he asked him.
“Wedding shopping,” he replied promptly. He waved good bye to everyone and practically ran towards his car and drove off. Mamaru nodded again and turned to the kids.
“So… what are you going to do?” Mamaru asked them. Everyone stared at him blankly.
“Why don’t you go? I bet you have a lot of more important stuff that you should be doing instead of watching a 13th year old party… What could possibly go wrong?” Dash asked him.
“I guess you’re right… why should I waste my time watching over little kids when there’s stuff I can do. Yeah I mean there’s just alcohol and guns in here, what could possibly go wrong?” Mamaru exclaimed. Dash just nodded his head at him.
“Okay, I guess I’ll come by to check on the party like at 7:00 p.m., alright?” he asked them. Everyone lazily nodded their heads and waved at him. Mamaru muttered something, and then made his way back home.
“So what are we doing now?” Mimy asked.
“Now… we do this!” T.K exclaimed as she jumped on Dash’s back and started messing up his gelled hair. Dash quickly pushed her off by untangling her legs from around his waist and her arm from around his neck, but was tackled to the floor by the two other girls. As soon as he was on the floor, Usagi sat on his legs and Mimy on his back. T.K. smirked and slowly walked towards him. When she was standing just before him she bent down and mussed his hair even more. A few minutes later, the girls finally relented and got off of him. When he got up he had his hair messily framing his face, he just raked his fingers through it once and left it alone.
“Well, now that you have had your fun… what now?” he asked, loosening his tie, unbuttoning the top buttons of his shirt, and rolling up the sleeves to his elbows.
“I don’t know… they said they were gonna come by early,” T.K. told him.
“Who’s ‘they’?” Usagi and Mimy asked them at the same time.
“Um… our friends,” T.K. told them. Mimy nodded in understanding while Usagi roller her eyes and cuffed her on the back of her head.
“Why the hell are you nodding if you don’t understand?” Usagi asked her. Mimy looked up at her.
“Cuz I felt smart!” Mimy told her quietly. Usagi just shook her head and turned towards T.K and Dash.
“…so I dealt with him,” Dash told her. T.K just shook her head.
“What are you talking about?” Usagi asked.
“None of your damn business,” Dash told her. Usagi glared at him and after a while kicked him. Dash dodged the kick and grabbed a hold of her heel, making her lose her balance and fall onto the couch that was behind her.
“I’m hungry, where’s the food?” Dash asked.
“It’s in the kitchen,” Mimy told him, getting up and leading the way. Dash followed her and found the food. He grabbed a chicken leg and started to eat it. He stopped though, when he noticed that Mimy was staring at him.
"What are you staring at?" he asked her when he swallowed the piece of chicken.
"Nothing, I was just wondering why you're not using a plate... come on, I'll even put some rice in it and I'll get you a soda," Mimy told him. Dash just nodded at her. Mimy smiled at grabbed a plate, put rice in it and gave it to Dash, who put the chicken leg in it. He grabbed a chicken thigh from the big plate and made his way to the living room. When he stepped in, he saw Thomas and most of the crew gathered around in the living room. He nodded at them and sat down on the couch. A few seconds later Mimy came out and handed Dash a Pepsi. He nodded his thanks and continued to eat.
"Ohh, YAY! Your friends are here! Do you guys want to eat, I could serve you," Mimy offered with a smile. Everyone nodded at her so she made her way back to the kitchen.
"So, why are you all inside?" Thomas asked them. Everyone just shrugged. He rolled his eyes.
"Let's go outside, it's too hot in here," he told them. Everyone got up and went to the front yard. A couple of minutes later, after everyone was situated comfortably in the front yard, Mimy started coming out with a handful of plates filled with food. After delivering the first load, she went back in and came back out with another handful of plates. Everyone said their 'thank you's' and Mimy just smiled at them.
"Anything for my brother," she told them. T.K. glared at her.
"That's just old! I'm wearing a freaking DRESS!" T.K. screamed at her. Mimy just smiled and shrugged at her, then she made her way inside the house.
"I swear she does it just to bug me," T.K muttered angrily.
"Obviously," Dash stated. T.K. huffed at walked inside the house. When she walked in, she completely stopped. In front of her was Javier flirting with Mimy.
"I better not be seeing what I think I'm seeing!" T.K. screamed out loud. Javier quickly looked up at T.K. and groaned when he saw her glaring at him. Before she could say anything, Tommy walked into the house.
"I just heard that people are gonna drop by and give us a little present," Tommy informed T.K. She nodded and turned back to her sister and Javier.
"You two go up to your room and watch television... and Javier, if I even suspect that you did something unappropriate, I'ma hurt you," T.K. told them before walking outside to talk to Dash.
"Go get the guns from 5 years ago, we're gonna get a little visit," T.K. told him. Dash rolled his eyes but nodded at her. He walked across the street to his house and brought back the paintball guns that they had kept from the mall. He handed one to T.K. when he found her.
"So, where did you hear that we were gonna get this visit?" he asked her.
"Tommy," she answered shortly, looking aorund for anything suspicious.
"And where did he hear it from?" he asked her again.
"What the hell is it with the questions? Just shut the fuck up and keep a look out," T.K. told him. Dash growled but didn't tell her anything. He walked towards the back of the house instead. He sat down on a lawn chair and relaxed while eating another chicken leg. He stood up when he heard shouts coming from the front. He slowly walked around the house to see what the commotion was about. When he turned the corner he saw T.K and a few others being attacked with waterballoons. He sighed while shaking his head.
"YOU CAN HANDLE IT! I'MA GO INSIDE AND EAT!" Dash screamed out.
"OH HELL NO! GET THE FUCK OVER HERE AND HELP, YOU LAZY ASS!" T.K. screamed at him. Dash grit his teeth and aimed his paintball gun at T.K. He pulled the trigger, but just as it was going to hit its mark, she ducked and it hit one that was on a bicycle instead.
"GOOD ONE!" T.K told him. Dash faked a smile and nodded. He aimed again but this time at their attackers. They all fought with vigor, until the others finally left.
"Ha! they gave up!" T.K. exclaimed, dress wet and hair ruined.
"Yeah, damn, that was one hard bicycle-by," Dash told her sarcastically.
"That's right! And we beat them!" T.K. told him fiercely. Dash just shook his head and walked into the house without a comment. 'They really have to grow up,' Dash thought.
