I wrote this about a boy I knew for a short time...

Forgotten...

Outcast,
Lonesome,
Forgotten...

Put aside,
Left to die,
Forgotten...

In the cold,
In the dark,
Forgotten...

Without love,
Without care,
Forgotten...

Left alone,
In this life,
Forgotten...

Because he's different,
Because he needs help,
He's forgotten...

Kicked out of church,
The one place,
Where he's supposed to be welcome,
No, he's forgotten...

Pushed from society,
Left to himself,
Forgotten...

Lonely,
Lost,
Forgotten...

Last minutes,
Last breath,
Forgotten...

Police find his body,
Stone cold,
Dead.

But nobody knows him,
Nobody cares,
It's written off as a suicide.

But no one knows what he felt inside,
All because,
He was...
Forgotten...
