"close your eyes

what do you see"

the man in the

nice

expensive

leather

chair

askes me

i do as he asks

i see nothing

complete black

then my head pounds

my eyes flutter

and roll back into my head

is this escaping?

this is hell

i vocalize what i know

he wants

to hear

"i see a beach"

the beach appears

after the words

maybe i can keep this up

but soon

the calm waves

crash loudly against the shore

there is no comfort here

inside my mind

"what else?"

must he speak?

his voice hurts my ears

the waters make shapes

no, people

the people fight

"people"

the people kill

"murder"

the people hate

"hate"

hitler

"oh no..."

blood

death

the water is red

as it washes ashore

at my feet

i try to back up

get away

but it follows me

like a ghost in the night

the water turns black

i run

the waves rise up

with hate

and crash after me

again and again

i am tripping

trying to run in sand

even in my mind

is a difficult task

i fall

in my mind

and out of my chair

i hit my head

more pain

at least im free

my eyes open

for now
