Written Feelings

I feel my heart beating

Feeling so heavy as if it was lead

My cheeks burning with desire

As my cold salty tears fell

Cooling it down

Trying to breathe

Despite my many emotions

Feeling so alone

A part of me let him get to close

As I wanted to take precautions

Just as a small child would try

Try to tip-toe to the Christmas tree

To catch a glimpse of Santa Claus

My hand trembling at each word written

As it is written from my soul

Truly how much I adored him

A heart so broken

Left stranded

With nothing
