Arrival at the Intersection of Lovers and Friends

There’s no one
I would want to rather love
Or cherish more above
All the others I’ve known.
Look at me.
You see everything to see
In my eyes blurred teary.
We shall not let them close.

If kisses and teary eyes
Would both us satisfy,
And our dawn’s pink sunrise
Had a light that would suffice;

If love was not a game that both of us had played,
I would give my heart to you today.

I love you.
I know that you love me too.
I didn’t mean to use
My words to cause you guilt.
Hug me tight.
We’ve found something grand tonight.
And for this we’ll fight.
It’s now what we have built.

If kisses and teary eyes
Would both us satisfy,
And our dawn’s pink sunrise
Had a light that would suffice;

If love was not a game that both of us had played,
I would give my heart to you today.
