Author Notes: Okay, lets get one thing straight. Dan IS NOT Tracy's b/f. This fic only represents the FAMILY relationship between them. Sister and brother. The only reason I put this is in the romance section because it's love. FAMILY love. Tracy is, and always will be, with Tobias Hastur.

Dan ran out of his kingdom, ready to pound some one. Don't they know how hard it is to commend some one to eternal hell? To say, your soul is not worthy? Hell, why'd he get this job anyway.

"Dan? What's wrong?"

He turned around to see his sworn sister, Tracy. He blinked. "What are you doing here? You're the Queen of Heaven. This is Hell."

When I'm lost in the rain,

And when I'm scared and losing ground;

When my world is going crazy, you can turn it all around.

"So, can't I visit?"

"No really. What are you doing here?"

"Dan, you can't hide anything from me. We're linked. Tell me what's wrong."

"But..." Before he could get anything more out, he felt Tracy's arms embracing him. She closed her eyes and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Tell me."

And when I'm down you're there; pushing me to the top.

You're always there; giving me all you've got.

"You wouldn't understand." He pulled away.

Tracy glared at him. "Oh really? Try me."

"You don't know what it feels like to commend someone to eternal misery. I hate it."

Tracy stayed silent and let him do the talking.

"You're the Queen of Heaven. In your judging, you know you're going to give them eternal peace and bliss."

"No, it's not that easy."

Dan looked at her surpised.

For a shield from the storm;

To keep me safe and warm,

Tracy continued. "I can't accept everyone. Maybe I can't hear the cries of pain, but I can feel them. My soul wants to help them, but I can't."

Dan studied Tracy's face. His sworn sister never really showed an emotion other than anger and sorrow. Sometimes she laughed, but when that was over, it was back to the cold mask. How she became Queen of Heaven was beyond him.

Again, he felt Tracy's arms. She leaned her head on his shoulder again and closed her eyes. "Please, my brother, don't be sad. Don't give up. You were born strong and I believe you can keep your faith. It's not your fault that some people belong in hell."

When I lose my will to win, I just reach for you and I can reach the sky again.

The King of Earth and Death felt a strange connection. Warmth filled him. Tracy was glowing blue and her face was peaceful. The anger was gone. He knew what was happening. Her empathy. Tracy had the power to drain sadness and lock it up inside of her.

"Don't Tracy. Don't do it."

Tracy didn't open her eyes. She just spoke, as if she was in a trance. "It's my job. No one should suffer. Espescially not you. You've done so much for me. You were always there for me. Now, it's time I returned the favor."

And when I need a friend, you're always on my side;

Giving me faith that gets me through the night.

Dan stared at her. He felt his sorrow drain and hope begin to fill him. A tear slid down his face and dripped onto Tracy's cheek.

Tracy blinked. She looked up into Dan's eyes. "Don't you dare cry. Because if you start, I'm afraid I'll start too."

He looked into her eyes. The cold darkness that was usually there was gone. Light.

"Tracy?"

"Yeah?"

He pulled her closer. "Thank you."

"I love you brother."

"I love you too."

Now he knew why she was made Queen of Heaven.
