It was just after fourth period when I heard my name being called out of the loudspeaker, and I was just getting ready for lunch. I was starving I missed breakfast so I could get done my Algebra homework. Ironic much?

" Oh great what did I do now?" I asked to myself, but David being the know-it-all we love so much just had to make a comment.

" Maybe they found out it was you and Shannon who were jumping on the floor in high heels, waking up and distracting everyone below you guys."

I smirked as I remembered those days during mid-terms when everyone was stressed out and tired, while me and Shannon- who is my roommate- were hyped up on double shot espressos from the Starbucks -that was open 24 hours during that time.

We were bored out of our skull from studying so much, so we broke out our stilettos, pumped up the stereo and started to sing along to the Spice Girls. And if I do say so myself we did a really good job at annoying everyone in Bradley Hall - That is the Freshman and Sophomore girls dorms- and possibly some out of Carson Hall, which is the Freshman and Sophomore boys dorm.

" No it can't be that" Shannon said. " if it was that they would have pulled both me and you into the office, not just you."

"True," I said. I turned around and started walking backwards, " Well I have a feeling I won't be out in time to grab any lunch so will someone please get me one of those big chocolate cookies that- Ahh!"

I never got to finish what I was going to say, because just I was about to I tripped over something, or should I say someone.

" Oh my god! I am so sorry. I was distracted, and I didn't see you. I…I-" I started to ramble. I mean you would to if you just randomly tripped over someone.

Then whoever I tripped over rubbed his -yes it was a he- and looked up at me and caught my eyes. If I had a mirror I probably would see me head pop out of my head, because there was one thing I could say.

GOR-GE-OUS.

I am drop dead serious. This guy was a god an earth. I could have sworn I quit breathing. He had naturally tan skin- just a bit darker then mine- with perfect brunette hair that swept across his face, and these amazing baby blue eyes that just popped. Now I couldn't see under his shirt, because he was wearing his uniform shirt with the school crest on it, with a blue Abercrombie top underneath, that just made his eyes more alluring.

His eyes caught mine, and my heart did a summersault that shot through space and slammed right back into my chest. I hope we have a pacemaker in this school because I thought I was going to have a heart attack.

" Oh no problem," Oh God he's actually talking to me. " I shouldn't have been in the way."

" Don't worry about it," Whoa! I could speak without my voice sounding like a chipmunk. Shocking. I took another look at him. He didn't look familiar- and trust me I would definitely remember this guy- so I just assumed he was new. " You know I don't think I have ever seen you around. Are you new?"

"Yeah actually I am, and to be honest I'm completely lost. I have been all day." He spoke to me with such softness and a heart throbbing smile, that my heart flipped…again.

I laughed. " Don't worry I was new last year and one time I had to go to the bathroom and ended up walking into the senior Calculus class." Wow, I barley knew the guy for 2 minutes and I was already spilling my life story.

" Blayke Tristonic," He said to me and held out his hand, as I snapped out of my dreamland.

I started to blush because of my late reaction, not exactly the best first impression. " Oh, um, Stacey Catafault." I reached out my hand for a friendly handshake to welcome him.

He reached out his hand in reply, and as if it was slow motion our hands connected. Do you know how it feels when someone shocks you-literally? Well, that's what happened, and that's why as soon as it happened we both pulled away and looked down at the floor.

"Um I should…I should go," I said to me, because it was true I was supposed to be in the office by now.

" Uh…yeah so should I," He started to speak up. He cleared his voice. "So I'll see you around?" Wait, he actually wanted to see me around? This is an even bigger shock.

" Yeah, of course."

" Okay then bye," and with that he was gone before I could even mumble a goodbye back to him.

Why must I blow everything good that comes around. He probably just said he'd see me later because he didn't want to hurt my feelings. He's probably just the typical guy. The one who makes you like him, then drops you like a hot potato.

" Will Stacey Catafault please report to the principal's office, now" The person through the loudspeaker sounded annoyed so I decided to get going before I ended up with detention. That is if I don't already have it.

I started to pick up my books that fell out of my hand when I tripped over Blayke. I looked around to see if Shannon and David were still around. Of course, they weren't. I bet they are going to forget my cookie too.

I stood up and straightened my skirt before walking to the office. Why would they want me in the office? I mean, they usually never call kids in there unless they did something bad, or if something bad happened to their families at home. Oh no, what if Kelsey went to them and made the entire incident seem worse then it is. She can do that and get away just because her dad is the headmaster. Big deal lets see her mom chase after tornadoes, no she might ruin her manicure.

I inched forward toward the office. What did I do this time? Okay I'm going to be completely honest, I don't exactly have the cleanest record in this school. I've seen the detention room just as much as Scott Rogers- the school delinquent, but I have very good reasons- these may be why I'm not as popular as some, who's names will not be said. You see there are various reason I have gotten detention.

Reason one: My locker. As I have pointed out I have been cursed with the locker that will NOT open ( I just got lucky today). And when your late for class, detention.

Reason number two: Living in a boarding school doesn't give you that much privacy when it comes to planning pranks that will bug the entire dorm. So if you do plan on doing something like that, there is a 87 chance you will get caught.

And reason three: I have a tiny anger management problem. Sometimes when people say stuff to me I ignore it. Other times I may just go and break their nose. The guidance counselor says it's because my dad left my mom for his shrink. I on the other hand just hate it when people push the limit and decide to do something about it. Simple as that.

But as far as I can remember, I don't think I broke anyone's nose anytime lately. I haven't planned a way to annoy the entire dorm in almost a month- after getting caught the last time, I was given 2 weeks detention, I chose to take it easy for a while.

Before I knew it I was standing in front of the office door. The door is translucent so nobody can see what's happening inside. I don't see the point of it though, if somebody in the school got in trouble, everybody will know who, what, where, when, and how in less than an hour.

I twisted the gold painted handle and pushed open the door. The first thing I saw was one of the secretaries standing at the copy machine trying to get it to work. Everyone knew that the copy machine was old and didn't work all the time. What we didn't know is why didn't they just buy a new one. Cheap school.

The secretary- also known as Mrs. Karol- looked up at me with a smile- okay if she's smiling than nothing should be too bad. " Nice to see you again Stacey, Mr. Watson will see you in his office." She pointed to the door that I have walked through so many times before.

"Thank you," I told her. I started walking to the door, my uniform skirt hitting the back of my legs-honestly they should really let us express our individuality, maybe I'll suggest something anonymously at the next student counsel meeting.

I knocked on the door, you never know what could be happening on the other side of these doors. I heard a slight 'come in' and opened the door.

I didn't really know what to expect, but I know I was NOT expecting to see Blayke sitting across from Mr. Watson.

Sorry its so short I just wanted to get it up R&R PLEASE!
