Overwhelming

Darkness caves in

Pressure builds

I'm drowning in a hopeless, black sea

I want to just stop time

This moment should last forever

So I have a chance to accomplish all that I need

They say when you drown

Your life flickers before your eyes

But all I see are what haunted me in life

Maintaining high grades

Fixing a broken group of friends

And perfecting my soul inside

Getting sleep

Doing more than needs to be done

And most of all, having fun

See, I try to do so much

That it all crumbled

Beneath me

And now I slowly piece it together

So I get better and it doesn't happen again

So I don't drown once again in that discouraging sea

A/N: I wrote this one night when I was just feeling so pressured, overwhelmed, over-exhausted... you name it, I had it. I find writing calms me down more than anything else and this is what came out.

Please review. It's so depressing to see like 15 hits and one review :)
