Just a night like any other

Right, a night like before…

Before, when the Spirits might come

And Jack-o-lanterns were employed to keep them away

Before, when People would place masks on their heads

To make sure Spirits wouldn’t recognize them night or day

Before, when food was place on the window or door

For Spirits wandering the misty Moor

All Hallow’s Eve

A night of delight and fright.
