Episode 5: The Final Countdown
"So I suppose this is the moment where you assume you will win and tell me the details of your plot assuming I'll never be able to beat you, but in reality what you tell me will lead to your downfall," Raven asked as she pointed her finger at him threateningly.
"Don't steal my thunder, poultry girl!" Dah Lou shouted as he jumped off of the yellow chicken, He landed on his feet, but he heard a soft crack and started to whine in pain.
"What the heck made you think that jumping off a 15 foot chicken was a good idea?" asked Raven mockingly as she put her wrists to her sides and leaned forward.
"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" Dah Lou said as he pressed a button on his chest and sighed in relief. "You see, there is still a degree of separation people hold between First Life and their personal lives. However, they are willing to publicize every measly detail of their routine to a fancy pancy status updater. So my corporation acquired the yellow chicken behind Twitter and our crack team of slaves... I mean scientists are working on combining both applications as we speak!" He proceeded to laugh maniacally. He then opened his eyes and noticed that Raven was no longer standing in front of him, but was in fact releasing Crow from his bondage.
Dah Lou started to panic and broke open a conveniently placed glasses box on the wall that read "In case of emergency involving protagonists with names relating to various types of undomesticated birds". He grabbed onto the copy of Shakespeare's Hamlet, the bane of students' existence everywhere. "Now, children, you will know what it means to seat in a boring English class!" he said as he started to run towards them, but he noticed that the book was starting to burn his hands.
"It looks like the intelligence of the book is corrupting your software!" said Crow as he tried to break the chains tying the chicken to the castle.
"No! I will not let this hap-" said Dah Lou as he froze in the middle of movement.
Raven walked towards him and asked Crow what they should do with it. He replied that he needed to be restarted. So she pressed that button on his chest and Dah Lou turned into a cute baby boy. Raven picked it up and started to cradle it. She wondered aloud what they should do with it.
"The better question is, what the heck was the moral of the story!" Crow wondered.
"Perhaps it is that you should not let technology take over your life?" Raven said as she started to exit the room with the baby Dah Lou.
"Or to never lock up yellow chickens in the attic!" yelled Crow and he finally released the yellow chicken and proceeded to jump out the window. The yellow chicken stayed in place.
"Why did you jump out the window? Chickens can't fly! It wouldn't be able to break the castle apart!" shouted Raven from the castle room.
Crow had landed on one of the phishermen from before. "I'm okay!" he smiled and turned his thumbs up.
"I'm not!" said a voice from below him.
