True love isn’t real

It’s just a fairy tale

People care for someone with all their heart

But in the end they get their hearts shattered in so many pieces

And when they finally put the pieces back together

The new person in their life

Shatters it again

Love is a repeating cycle of torture

It makes us bleed through and through

Until we have no strength to live in this world

And give up

So I don’t understand why people

Still try and love someone

Even though it will destroy them in the end
