This is the first thing I ever wrote (ok second but the first was basically sex, sex and more sex so it doesn't count)
I decided to post it and let y'all decide for yourself wheteher it's as bad as it seems to me
Here we go then
Trust in my self-righteous suicide;
I, cry when angels deserve to die
System of a down – Chop Suey!
She stood once again before her nemesis, the demon lord Kansirius, yet at the brink of death she knew no fear, in fact every part of her longed for death as it had for ten long lonely years. The memory was clear as crystal, engraved forever in her mind since that fateful day…
Then like now she had stood before him but then she had been with her three friends, her three lovers. On that day they had sacrificed themselves to give her a chance at ridding the world of this threat to all life. Using their strength she had struck him down, yet even death could not vanquish him.
She had nearly taken her own life there and then but her vow to her companions stayed her hand. She had promised - no sworn - to rid the world of this evil and so embarked on a journey that would take ten long years to conclude, haunted night and day by her friend’s voices but she persevered taking on four apprentices in order to pass on her skills and keep the legacy of the Shojo Warriors alive. First there was Circe a girl powerful enough to be a sorceress had she not been unjustly imprisoned. Hanan was next, kind and compassionate, but lonely she helped them cross the mountains for no reward but their friendship, Yoko had joined them at a port, she got them passage on a ship for a reduced fee and finally Maeve cold as ice yet still she rescued them from a monstrous creature at great risk to herself.
She taught the four everything she knew and came to love them like her own children. When at last she found ‘it’ she was at peace with the world, ready to play her part, she just had to face up to telling them the consequences of her actions.
And so the five fought their way into Kansirius’s palace so she could stand and face him again.
She looks to the heavens “Marie, Petra, Frieda are you watching?”
She smiles sadly and raises the talisman which took her so long to find
She cries out, channelling all her power into it
“I SUMMON THANATOS, ANGEL OF DEATH!”
Her apprentices’ watch in understanding horror as she falls to the floor bereft of life a small smile on her lips
The small silver talisman hovers above her and a great silver angel appears
“The sacrifice of this pure soul has grants me authority to banish you to hell for all eternity, demon.”
With this it produces a great silver scythe, swings and, with a shriek, Kansirius is gone. Forever.
Yoko sobs and drops to her knees only for Circe to take her in her arms
“Don’t cry Yoh, she’s with them now.”
“I know but I’ll miss her”
Hanan speaks sadly “we all will”
The other two join the embrace and all four look skyward for a moment
“We will do as we agreed”
“Yes, tonight we celebrate, in her honour”
“In death as never in life we will let her hear our cries; of joy, of passion, of sheer ecstasy and she shall know that all was not in vain”
“She shall know that we still live, and what she taught us lives on in us.”
