Facing the day with a new charade

The fickle façade of a passing phase

Eating away at my day-to-day

Cast as the god of a world at play

They say that faith is the way of getting through the day

But when the gods have packed their shit and moved away

I think it makes more sense to say

That I should put my faith in my best interest

And I'm not quite sure what I'm to do
