Cache blues

We must all push and shove the ones we love
And wear our obsessions like a glove
Too tight cries the hand
Buried in the sand
Looking for the pleasure you cannot measure
It's looking for the...
Stolen
Broken
Lifted
Opened
Scattered
Shifted
Hidden
Ridden
Buried
Married
Brought up
Brought out
Thrown open
With a shout
Yes the hand that feeds is starving too
Deep underground without a sound
It seeks the pleasure you cannot measure
The unforeseen joy of buried treasure
This gloved hand will go where the mind will not dare
Beyond the tear and beyond the scare
Only to find
The buried treasure
Isn't even there
