Lilith’s Dream

Authored by: KurokumoYume

Lilith had just come from her friends house and she was happily skipping along the coble-stone walkway. It was after tea, and her mother wanted her back home. She was late, as usual, but as a child she didn’t care. Lilith was almost eight, her birthday was in two months. She was very excited, for you see she had asked for a pony that year. A gray dapple pony that she could ride across the garden, trampling mum’s roses. Of course she didn’t say the part about the roses for obvious reasons.

She was a darling little girl, well that’s what everyone thought. Always wearing the newest fashion for her time, her mother had bought it for her weeks before any one else had it. Mother always had to get the very best for her lovely little girl. She really was a snot nosed little brat, who always whined and who always got what she wanted, but never what she deserved.

Lilith paraded along the roadway and said ‘hello’ to various objects, innocent like all children.

“Hello, Mr. Lamppost! How are you today?”

“Good afternoon, Mrs. Toad! How are you on this fine day?”

She continued for a good while. Almost all the way to her tremendous three story house, but she was stopped. A man of the age of thirty-four, seemed troubled and called out to the young girl.

“Child! Dear child!” He said. Lilith turned around and curtsied to the man.

“Why hello Top hatted Gentleman! How are you on this fine afternoon?’

“Oh my, I seem to have lost my daughter! She is about your age with long brown hair.”

“Oh dear!” she exclaimed “This is not a fine day at all! You have lost your daughter, but I am afraid that I have not seen her, for I am just walking through.”

“That is quite alright. You look just like her.” He fondled a strand of her hair. “My, her hair is just like yours.” He then stared at her feet. “Your shoes, are just like my darling Claudia’s.” He studied her closer. “Your freckles, your eyes, even your delicate hands. You look just like my darling Claudia. You are my Claudia!

“Oh, why no sir! I am not Claudia, my name is Lilith! My hair is of black, not brown. I am for sure we are not alike, not at the very least sir!” She started to back away, but was grabbed by the man.

“Claudia! You have been a horrible girl!” He started to take her towards the alleyway from whence he came. “Claudia, you have been a horrible girl! You made me worry, oh how awful! I finally found you after fifteen years…”

“Sir! I am not your daughter! Sir, let me go!” she struggled and writhed, but he wouldn’t loosen his grip.

You could hear her screams for a while. Then they suddenly stopped. Too bad no one heard her pleas, for she might have been spared. Lilith didn’t go home that night. Mother was worried, she reported it to Scotland Yard. They didn’t find the body until two weeks later. The carcass was tortured, dismembered, and raped. The blood left a rotten stench in the air, and horrendous stains along the walls. From her premature death seven creatures were created. Their purpose was to possess other humans, make them their marionettes, and perform Lilith’s revenge on other innocent organisms.
