Silence

That's all I ever wanted between us

Just your hands in mine and

Silence

I wanted no words between us

Nothing that would frighten me

Would make me fly away

Just our hearts, beating together,

Pounding into the

Silence

I just wanted to see you

Slide my fingers along your skin

Gaze into those widened eyes

Press my lips to yours and hear

Silence

Hands cold, hands warm, hands together, hands apart

I didn't really care if I knew, knew that I had you

That I had your love, your trust, your faith, and this

Silence

If we lose the silence, we might lose the dream

And I don't want to wake up

But I can already feel it slipping away...

We're already losing it, it's moving into an altogether new kind of

Silence

I'm sorry

I'm so sorry that I've lost you

Please forgive me

And when it comes again, I promise I will find you

Silence
