Is a blow struck in self defence the same as a blow

struck in rage? Can a word spoken to hurt another

be equal to a correction that hurts and yet heals?

If I prune a tree in the proper season, am I evil

because it causes temporary pain? Lord,

sometimes I feel that in these times of

prosperity and seclusion I need help

remembering that true peace is

when I trust in You with all

my heart. Let others see

the metamorphosis

Your peace brings

even during war

and sorrow

and pain.
