The Dreamer

My soul travels to a far away land,

So warm and full of light,

That I cannot bear to grin a smile.

Red and blue,

Purple and yellow,

Green and orange,

They beckon to me,

A rainbow of colours.

I have travelled far and wide,

But never like this before,

Like a stream in all directions,

I flow with no boundaries to hold me.

They gather around me,

Sweetly I ask to feel them,

They feel like nothing I've ever imagined,

Words of which I cannot express.

"The Dreamer" is who they call me,

I smile and begin to feel myself flying,

Flying forward through their voices,

I am overcome with happiness.

I feel myself falling down now,

Through the clouds to my home,

Gently my soul falls back into my body.

Dreaming is the doorway to many worlds,

Perhaps one day you too will take a visit,

To the place I have spoken of,

Where all the Faeries reside.
