Sirens Tied to a Heartstring Balloon

Sing me a song,

And trap me in your melodies.

Enchant me to sink

Into your sweet lullaby.

Be the Siren of the present

And lure me into your soul.

I’ll risk being held here

For the rest of eternity.

Tell me what your spirit speaks,

Through your wondrous harmonies,

And let the music wrap ‘round me

Like angels’ wings.

Don’t shy away from it;

I’ll be there to listen, darling.

Never mind if you are able carry a tune;

The message will be pure, my love.

For the heart has one true song to express,

One magnificent voice,

That lies to be discovered by the person brave enough

To venture within.
