Beautifully Tortured
Sequel to Beautifully Alone
By Zetsuya
Chapter One: Proposal?
Years ago, I was thinking of death. I wanted to be with the one I loved and lost to the reaper. I saw him just before my dive into darkness, but I had thought him to only be hallucination because of my old photos. Him... an angel? I didn't really believe in that sort of thing. I didn't believe in vampires either.
Now... I believe in angels, and vampires, and demons. It's hard not to believe, especially when you've met some.
--------------------------
I felt sore. My sire merely grinned. "You're still trying to resist enjoying it?" He nipped at my collarbone. I wanted to push him off, but that would only result in more pain as a punishment. He immediately sprung up at the sound of the door. "Master," I heard him whisper and he hurriedly covered me with the blanket and then dove under the bed. It was forbidden to sleep with the master's pet, so if my sire was caught then he would be killed in one of the most painful and slowest ways a vampire can die. Torture would most certainly be included.
The door swiftly opened and in came the master, a youthful-looking vampire with a tattoo of a black rose on his chest. His hair was a rich red, almost the exact color of blood. His eyes were black as the fur on a cat. His flesh was pale, but had more color to it than my own. His kisses could be harsh and forceful, or soothing and loving depending on his mood. Lately, he was almost always in an angry mood, fighting with his lovely bride of two-thousand-years every day. "She is annoying," he told me as he sat on the edge of the bed. "I don't even remember why I married her in the first place."
"Because you loved her?" I suggested.
He looked at me, and it made me wish I hadn't said anything at all. But then... he grinned and chuckled. "Perhaps I did love her, but that was so long ago now. I need a change... someone newer than her."
So, he was to leave her, Isralasha. Yet, who would he choose to wed now? She was one of the youngest of the females in our clan. "There aren't many females in our clan you can choose from," I stated and he chuckled again, his hand twirling in my hair.
"Who said I was going to choose another female, Cain?"
"A male, Lain? Is that... wise?"
"What's wrong with it? No fear of unexpected pregnancy."
"You still worry about that?" I asked without thinking. I went silent afterwards, but he didn't get angry. In fact, my question... just made him laugh.
"Of course I worry about it still. Especially when I choose a mortal woman for a one-night-stand." He leaned over towards me. "You see, whenever I do that, I have to use a condom, and I really don't like those. So, I figured I'd try loving a guy for awhile." He licked my lips. "Besides," he then whispered, "we already know I like the sex we have, right, Cain? Oh, and... you're struggling against me less often. Could you be forgetting your lost lover? Finally..."
That wasn't true at all! I could never forget him! The only reason why I didn't fight back was because after my sire was done with me, I would be so tired. I didn't have the strength to fight.
He pushed me onto my back and laid on top of me, watching me with those black eyes. "Hm..." He grinned as he lowered his head and kissed me. It sent shivers down my spine. His tongue tried to get mine to play. After a few more moments, I finally surrendered and went along with it. When he pulled away, he whispered, "Be honest, Cain. Who's in here with us?"
