I Can’t

I want to tell you how I feel,

I just can’t do it,

How do you feel?

I have so much to say to you,

I just can’t find the words,

What is going on with me?

I want to tell you that I love you,

I’m afraid that you won’t feel the same,

I just can’t find the way to tell you,

And it’s driving me insane.

I want you to love me,

I just can’t take that chance,

I want to tell you, really I do,

It’s just I’m so afraid.

Sometimes I think that I can,

Sometimes I’ve almost told you,

Sometimes I think that you’ll be scared after what I’ve done.

And sometimes I think “I can’t,”

When really I know I can.
