I’m so tired of the pushing and the pulling.

So tired of the mistrust and the lies.

How could they ever know how we feel?

On three lets make a break for it,

Run away, we can make it.

Lets start our life on our own.

Where no one can tell us what’s right.

A place where I can hold you through the night,

I never have to cry myself to sleep again.

We’ll never miss each other,

Because nothing would come between us.

Just hold my hand,

And lets take off running.

Close our eyes,

Shut out everything we’re leaving.

They really brought this on themselves.

I promise you I’m not afraid.

I won’t be as long as I’m with you.

Just give me the word and we’re gone.

I won’t look back.

As long as you’re holding me tight,

How on earth could I regret this?
