If Happiness Is Not With Me
If happiness is not with me
Then I shall let you go
Wash my sorrow with the sea
But this you'll never know
-
To bring happiness back to you
I shall break my heart
My feelings are justly true
Even if we're forced to be apart
-
I'll hide away and disappear
Just to make you smile
I'll try not to shed a single tear
All the distressing, lonesome while
-
I'll go to the extreme distance
To prove my faithful love
Seeing your smile makes my existence
So much that—I would do all of the above
