A MAD TEA-PARTY
With misery about
As far as the eye can see
A merry celebration
What fun a party can be!
There is the March Hare
And the Hatter, having some tea
A dormouse sitting beside them
“No room, No room, No room” they cried
But there was! As far as the eye can see!
And it was the space they eyed
“Have some wine” says the March Hare
But there’s none to be found
The wine, perhaps missing, the question is where
If only there was some to go around
Tea parties round here are quite a calamity
Madness, sanity, not enough to go about
These essentials are quite a necessity
Something the party could not be without
