Tragic Song

333333333333333333333

The ribbon unravels

Crimson streaks across the sky,

The Sirens call sounds from afar...

The tragic song,

The tragic Siren...

A warm appearance...

but icy heart,

corrupted with its own hatred and contempt

Lulled into unnending infatuation

Again and again her sharp talons strike

In her rage

And my blindness

My oblivion

But still her tongue lashes the worst

Sharp like a dagger and cold like her soul

Must escape

Lesson Learnt

Maybe...

But then I wonder

If I now see past the facade of beauty...

Why do I continue to love that which I see?

But now I continue

With scars hidden and false pretenses donned

But still I'm corrupted

By the Sirens tragic song
