Writer's Block
Like a high brick wall,
or a door with a lock,
is a confounded obstacle,
called Writer’s Block.
It aggravates those,
who say they can write.
It traps their minds,
in a space that is tight.
No rhythmic words forming,
no haiku nor limericks.
The noggin is weak,
as though we are sick.
We write and scribble,
recite and rewrite.
Until, at last!
Words that sound right!
Finally it comes,
to a long awaited end.
Writer’s Block has gone,
we’re no longer condemned.
