Gray

On a cloudy day
On an empty street
I walk the walk
To misery,

My feet are bare
My hands are clean
But I walk the walk
To misery

Above the sky is ever dark
Below my path is stinging
And every step has made it's mark
To hope and trust I'm clinging

Gray,

My world in black and white

My tears of salt
Heart of ice
My laugh is but
A frail disguise,

I close my eyes
But I still see
The empty street
To misery

Gray, gray

The world in black and white.
