Autumn Roses

I don't mind what happend then,

All I care about is the when and now.

I'm sorry for the things I've said and done,

I don't know what made it change.

and suddenly...

Chorus:

I've found Autumn roses in the spring.

Just as love blossoms unexpectedly,

My pride is lost as I stand,

Watching you there taking my hand,

Seemingly gaurded from everything,

Looking at Autumn roses in the spring.

You walked on water to save a life,

What can I do but watch from the sides?

Before I found you I must have been blind,

I should have waited a lot longer,

So suddenly...

Chorus

I'm not sure that you should take me in.

What else is there to do?

The way you looked at me let me know,

I've been forgiven many times.

It's been hard and it won't get easy,

And suddenly...

Chorus x2

So suddenly I see Autumn roses,

I see you looking at them yesterday.
