Collision

By: Angel

The walls are slowly consuming

Everything we hold dear

Everyone who had ever come near

Is now being pushed

Away

All but you and me

They’re toppling, colliding, submitting

Collapsing all around us

We’re all to blame

There’s no sense in gaining fame

But we all must still

Play this overwriting game

What in the world is sane?

No more reassurance

Only hesitation will we feel

The walls will never heal us

From this collision

No time for emotions

No time for these sorrowful collisions

It’s time to come out with a decision

No more second thoughts

They’re toppling, colliding, submitting

Collapsing all around us

We’re all to blame

There’s no sense in gaining fame

But we all must still

Play this overwriting game

What in the world is sane?

Slowly and silently

The collision fads

No more hesitation

Only one decision.
