is a sort of

funny thing.

when there are people

everywhere

all around

but there’s still this

emptiness

residing

in your mind.

a glorious phantom

dancing

on your security, just

dancing

on your confidence.

do you still

feel it,

child?

you are loved

now

but are you

still

longing for more?

are you still

lonely

although they smile

wildly

at you?

are you still

all alone?

loneliness

is a sort of

funny thing.

you can be

loved.

you can even be

surrounded by

people, by

friends

but you can

be lonely,

Oh. So. Alone.

so never mind.

there is no

beautiful,
