Alas, it’s God that’s held you down

Under a veil—

A veil that films a layer over eye.

A color pale

Obstructs the view of life in truth

With darkened thought,

Which contradicts the clarity instilled

In what you’ve sought.

But no, I know not truth. I speak

With fallacy

To you, the ignorantly naïve kids.

Your normalcy

Requires not the thought that makes a mind,

And you, besides,

Desire not the burden, lacking hope,

Where truth resides.
