Queen Condensation 12/01/06

Queen Condensation in converse shoes
and worn-out, strapped on fake feather wings
(with a glitter wand to boot)
cries her freshwater tears
that stain her cheeks rainbow.
She microwaves hot chocolate and
watches old westerns
to cheer herself up.
She sketches dreams on lined paper
and outlines them with sharpie.
Still, a whimper and a sniffle
are heard every other minute.
Sorry, Queeny, but you're
too melancholy for me.
