Rain

Gentle breeze that blows unseen

Through this reality of dreams

Calming all these soothing thoughts

Breaking all these broken hearts

Bitter smile pierce my heart

Love awhile then depart

Give to you all that I’ve got

You take away that which I sought.

These lovely bones that slowly melt

Like liquid fire burning velvet

Screaming of sweet red desire

Fire burning, jumping fire

Break…away

Break…of dawn

Break…the new day

On this washed out…horizon

This icy cold that burns my heart

Leaving tracks like a broken cart

Splinters coating all my life

Like a broken cross; purest strife

Ecstatic nightmare, fragment dream

Untainted bliss in blood and oil

Cut my heartstrings, rip them out

And let me eat it…my immortal.

A/N: I guess you could say I loosely based this off of Immortal Rain (for any manga fans out there ) but I really just kinda sat down and the words sorts…floated right out. I love it when that happens. Also, to those whose stories I am editing, I will get them all to you A.S.A.P., I promise. (That is, if you still want them. Please let me know either way, okay?) I just didn’t realize how stinking hard the school year was going to be, and now I’ve gone into stress-overdrive (or w/e). Thank you guys so much for being so patient. I love you all!! Btw, I do realize that the middle stanza has absolutley nothing to do w/anything, but I don't have the heart to cut it out. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
