I know where you are because I've been there too.
Alone, far away and wondering what to do.
You try to get your feet; you attempt to stand
Hoping like heck that someone'll understand.
Doubt and fear creep into your heart
And then you realize you're no longer a part
In society with people, and in your circle of friends
The camaraderie that once bound you now comes to an end.
You try to run, escape and hide
But it's all to fail; your problem's inside
Listen to your heart, it'll tell you what to do
I know where you are because I've been there too.
You don't have to listen to my voice
Save for but a little empathy, it's only noise
But please consider what I've just told you
I know where you are because I've been there too.
