Author’s note: I plan on posting all of my poetry on this site… Well… I’m going to post it all here with a new chapter for each poem. I probably should have done this a long time ago, but I’m lazy. Anyways, most of this will be poetry I wrote last year, so don’t be surprised if some of it isn’t as good as it should be. I would appreciate reviews to tell me what I need to improve on, but you can also just say something like “WTF is this! It’s horrible and you suck!” or “Wow, you’re awesome! Keep up the good work!” Actually, any review would be appreciated. (Because they make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!) Well, on to the poems. This one is called Someday. (No, not SUNDAY! Although I am typing this up on a Sunday… o.O)

Someday

One day when I was condemned to die,

You saved me.

Another day I ran away.

A thought of you brought me back.

Yesterday I tried to join the fray.

You were there to stop me.

Today I tried to fly.

You caught me before I hit the ground.

Someday,

One day I’ll repay, I’ll help, and then I’ll save

You.
