Sister Light, Sister Dark

of the morning and the evening stars

watch over us ‘till our journeys end

and all is well again

though some we lost along the way

let us mourn not the days away

so that sorrow swells not to blind our eyes

and bitterness doth not consume our souls

but let us move on to be filled with joy

leaving our sorrows far behind.
