Once Upon a Snowy Day
As the warmth hits my face.
The white is forgotten outside.
My boots, as lemons do,
Squeaking as I walk on the floor.
The sight of carpets
Give a feel of deep green.
I’m standing on a thick, comfy rug
-no, the fresh grass of spring.
The warm scarf around my neck,
Red,
Like the smell of fresh laundry from the dryer.
Listening to the whirling machines,
Their song fills my mouth with,
The taste of melting chocolates,
On a cold snowy day.
