If only I could see the one

The one whom I love,

But alas he’s gone away from here;

So I will see him no more.

He left the day before the last,

With one last glance he said goodbye.

And alas I couldn’t stop the tears,

For all was lost forevermore.

If only we could spend one day more,

Among the gardens that we love.

But alas he’s gone forever,

And left my heart hurt beyond compare.
