A snowflake fell from on high

Where sing the angels in the sky

It fell so silent with nary a word

A frozen teardrop no one heard

That snowflake from on high

A snowflake fell from on high

From the blue, surreal sky

Its crystal pattern was quite absurd:

It was shaped like a flying bird

That snowflake from on high

A snowflake fell from on high

Terrified that he would die

He cried out but the words were blurred

So the other snowflakes misheard

That snowflake from on high

A snowflake fell from on high

Screaming as he dropped from the sky

He prayed his soul would be transferred

And closed his eyes without a word

That snowflake from on high

A snowflake fell from on high

It landed on top you and I

The shape was funny like a bird

And for sure, I must’ve misheard

The screaming snowflake from on high
