The Questions I Seek

All of this hate
I can relate
There's too much of it
In this bottomless pit

Will it ever go away?
Will there ever be peace?
Will there ever be love?
Will there ever be kindness?

These are the many questions that I seek
Our future certainly looks rather bleak
