My mind is jumbled lately

I laugh at my old poems

They controlled me; he controlled me

Well sweetie, not anymore

Do you miss me?

And all I did for you?

Oh darling, I hope you miss me.

Because I’m the best you ever knew

I shake my head,

I laugh from spite

I shed a tear

For our fucked up nights

It’s high school love,

Its romance at it’s worst

I was a fool

From the beginning, cursed

Do you know what you said that night?

I still cry for you, don’t ask me why

Except our love was lust

You knew this, don’t try to lie

My only advice is this:

Fuck it, fight it, deal with it

Live life how you want

And then die as you will

You always had to have the last word.
