Al Haqeln E’Bihen

Humans were first to rebel, they ate

forbidden fruit of that tree in vain

God punished Men with mortality:

shortest time living on earth than th’rest

Elves were responsible, helping Rast:

Omish saw Patobi, warned not the

father of humans all, just let him

eat the pear; Bethre did even more:

The forest-king Rast was

responsible but don’t

forget that Bethre did

encourage Patobi

and mother Eibado

to sin against the Lord

Lord God Padéni took away the Elves’

deathless lives, death enters now when forced.

Bethre he changed; now the cursed

Orc and the goblin are brood of his

Dwarves have first blood on their hands because

God had rejected their offering:

Life, it was, God wanted, not the ore

dwarves brought him; jealousy blazed their souls

Murdered men, elves slain for righteousness.

Dwarves now are mortal, inflexible hearts

Jealousy still burns their hard spirits.

Anjeln remain faithful to God, all but

Meiran, the Anjeln of Deepsea, who

did groan about their task: endlessly

Serving the Lord; Protelos hated the thought:

“Why should the Mortals get

rest, death abhorred by them

And ever Anjeln strain?”

Forest-king, pleasèd, replied to him:

“Why should you, my angel?

You are right! You should be

granted sweet death as well

I’d sin, if it were me

Stir up his anger, yes

He’d surely make you die

A ‘punishment’, I guess!

So curse the Lord on high!

Holy God, heartbroken, Firstborn lost

Granted this: Protelos’ death but warned:

“Your spirit shall cycle, to woe you.

Your soul will be weary, to woe you.

You’ll rest not in death, to woe you.”

Protelos cried, but his deed was done

Words are impossible always to

revoke, now God spoke again to him

“Descendents of yours, reincarnate,

their memories lost, each start new lives.

You, however, keep yours, so you may

repentance preach, prophet, Mnemonic

remind them of their plight, and I will

restore you to your eternal life

once they do apologize; your children

shan’t even begin to feel need to

repent ‘til souls tire and weaken.

Once they do, Mnemonic shall quest to

regain your immortality, yes.”

God’s irrevocable word was that.

Exiled, he swam so far; Deepsea now

Banishèd; this is now eons past.
