I Love Him

I love somebody,

But he will never love me back.

I try to get him to notice me, but all he sees is black.

His eyes glitter and sparkle,

His smile is worth a ton.

But he never notices me,

I am so done.

It’s so obvious,

Why can’t he just see?

The one he belongs with is truly me.

My love for him burns for him,

Like the never-ending sun.

At the dance, he walks to me,

But what do I do? Run!

He glistens like gold

When I look into his gorgeous face.

Them I am sold,

And pulled into his never-ending race.

My stomach gets butterflies,

My loving heart leaps.

I adore him so much,

Why can’t I have him for keeps?

He flirts with another girl,

And then he hurts me bad.

I can’t tell him my feelings,

And for that it makes me sad.
