Worlds Apart

Two worlds apart

Yet so very near to each other

Two people wanting to near

One is a girl, living in a tower

Made of gray marble stone

With red and white roses

The other, a boy, living in a palace

Made of white limestone

With ivy vines climbing the walls

The girl, dress in pale blue dress

Sitting in a bay window

Staring out into the world

The boy, dress in white shirt, black pants and black boots

Stands at his terrace

Looking out to the world

Both of them are looking

For each other

Even though they are worlds apart

The girl and the boy are in love

Both are yearning for each other

Yearning for that kiss

Both hearts are aching for each other

Yet they are so far away

Very far away

Messages fly every single day

Letters of love

Words of beautiful poetry

Yet they dream of being together

Both of them think about each other

Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute

But they are worlds apart

How will they ever meet?

Love always finds a way

For fate has written it

That these star cross lovers

Should meet one day
