Sleeping Under Your Own Shadowing

You told me if I hold your hands

You would embrace me with your smile

But the night has passed and I lean against that nameless wall

Cold eyes staring at me

The room spins but I still lay

Choking on my own mistake

Fate has it that if I don't cry for you

The teardrops would run down the sky

Eyes blind me of what pleases the mind

Though darkness has yet unveiled its true nature

I hang on to its reflection, moonlight has lit and

Your voice echoes and pulls me under

You told me if I wait for you in my wander

You would find me with your heart

But the wind has rolled and I breathe that chilly air

Naked souls whispering to me

The ceiling waves but I still look

Shivering at my own undoing

Sleeping under your own shadowing
