Getting into one of the most famous schools in the country meant that you had to have the best socializing skills, best results, best looks, best body, best everything, but Sarah, she was nothing. Everyday, school is an agonizing routine for her. It starts with name-callings by her mean classmates, and it goes on to getting picked on by teachers, and finally going home and crying her heart out.
Sarah never seemed to excel in anything she did. She was constantly mocked at by people of her own age. School seemed to be the most agonizing treatment she had ever been put through in her entire 16 years. But it wasn’t as if life at home was any better, her parents were never there for her. They were always out working or socializing in pubs. Sarah couldn’t figure out the reason why they gave birth to her. The only thing they provided her with was cash, and she didn’t want money, she wanted love. She wanted to fall into a true blue love story, but who would want her?
She was always the loner, the emotional poseur everyone thought she was. But she wasn’t, she was just a lonely girl, that’s all. She needed love, concern and a strong and kind man to lean against. She was just like any other teenage girls; she had a really huge crush on this cute boy called Josh in her class. But as much as she liked him, how would it be ever be possible for the most popular guy in school to notice her? How would it be possible for the most sought for guy in school be interested in her?
She always knew she was dreaming of the impossible, something that’ll never ever come true, and she hated the feeling. She hated fantasy stories because they never came true. She wanted to tell herself to wake up, to stop dreaming of the impossible, but why is it that every time her eyes land on him, she blushes? She asked herself time and again. She really wanted to stop being silly, stop being a loner and stand out from the crowd so that Josh could notice her, she wanted Josh to adore her.
