Dreaming of You

Every night,

Before closing my eyes,

I look into the sky,

& silently pray

I want to see you tonight.

I close my eyes,

I feel light and fuzzy,

I think I’m in wonderland,

I run about,

I see flowers everywhere,

Then I saw you,

You were a pretty goddess.

I run towards you,

I want to hug you,

To feel you,

To touch you,

To kiss you,

---

I want to own you.

---

But I find myself,

Back on the bed,

Holding tightly to my pillow,

Tears falling,

Drop by drop onto the

Once clean bed

I was only,

Dreaming of you.
