Ch 4: I am the Fire
By: Helena F. Lupin
Valley had not moved for nearly two days now. Well, two days he surmised, there was no real way to tell time for him. He was awake a few hours, then slept a few. That was the best clock he had, the internal kind. Eiryan had not been to see him, and it was Forest that informed Valley that that was because Eiryan had military affairs to contend with. Before he got to lay with his newest husband. Valley was dreading it.
He could not leave the room alone. When he had tired to sneak out, he had found the doors unresponsive to him. Only when Flicker or Forest were there could he be allowed to walk the ship. Not for lack of trying to break out either. He would have by now if he had been able to find a control panel or something to the doors. He would have tried throwing furniture at them, if everything had not been attached to the damn ground! Trapped, trapped, trapped. That was all there was too it.
He stiffened when he heard the door slip open softly. Valley had been sitting on the ground, looking out of the window at the unending space and stars. Earth had been out of sight since day one. He wondered how fast they were traveling? Probably Star Trek speed. The window showed him no reflection, so he could not tell who was walking up behind him. He was hoping for Flicker or Forest. Frost might try to kill him. And Eiryan may try to...
“There is my little viper.” Well, someone just plain hated him in heaven. Valley remained stiff and unmoving as the other knelt behind him. A shiver touched him when an arm came up on either side of him and palms rested against the glass. He was trapped in yet another way. Lips slid down the side of his throat and he jerked away, turning swiftly, his back up against the glass and knees pull to his chest. He pressed his hands against the floor, trying to push further away, but that was impossible.
Eiryan gave a devious smile down to the other. Not good. Just simply not good. The hands on the glass moved in a blink, catching the teen beneath his knees. Valley found himself pinned up against the glass now, Eiryan having gone to his knees and pressed closer, his legs held firmly by the backs of his thighs. It was not an uncomfortably position, Valley could bend very well. But it was one of his favorite ones. Valley gasped and flushed. When would it end?
“There is a feast tonight.” Eiryan said at last. “You will be required to come. Usually, Frost and Flicker sit on either side of me. I am displeased with Frost though, you will be in his seat tonight.”
“Great, give him more of a reason to hate me.” Valley growled, putting his hands against the other’s chest and pushing, wanting him to let go. Frost would kill him for sure if he took the other’s seat next to Eiryan at the feast. Hell, his food would be poisoned, he just knew it.
“He won’t touch you. I assure you.” Eiryan replied as he nuzzled the other’s ear and began to whisper in a new language, smooth and quiet. Valley felt his body ignite instantly. That bastard was using some kind of alien sex power on him! Valley was so going to kick his ass...after they were done. Valley’s eyes fluttered shut with a low hum in the back of his throat. It felt too good, what the other’s voice could do. But that wicked mouth on his throat was so much worse. It nipped and sucked. He knew he was going to have one hell of a hickey.
Valley put his hands against the other’s chest and pushed gently. “Eiryan, stop...” His voice was soft and lacked conviction. The alien only settled closer, pressing the obvious erection he sported up between Valley’s legs. The human gave a little cry.
“Let me dress you.” Eiryan murmured as he moved, standing up and pulling Valley with him. The human’s legs just about gave out, but he let the other lead him. Valley’s hair had lost the dyed color from his bathes and was now that natural silver. It was actually blond, but it was so pale it passed as silver. Eiryan expressed a liking for it as he dressed Valley in an outfit of blacks and pale silvery grays, to match his eyes.
He like the color much better. He even like the design much more. The other husbands had been in what looked very much like Arabian harem clothes in Valley’s eyes, he had pants, boots, and a jacket that had one side that crossed over the other and was held shut by a silvery sash, the boots were the same color, as was the under shirt with it’s high collar. The pants, jacket and gloves were all black.
He was thankful for the fabric. He did not like showing so much off. And when he met Eiryan’s eyes, he was pretty sure the other knew it.
“You will get to meet Fair and Fix at the feast.” Eiryan said as he took the other’s arm and led him from the room. “And I think I would very much enjoy seeing you sing.” He murmured into Valley’s ear. He spoke a soft word of his own language and Valley shivered, flushing. He licked the other’s ear lightly and continued onward.
Valley was right about Frost hating him more. The other watched him as if he wanted to rip his throat out with his bare hands and claw his eyes with his nails. He kept close to Eiryan just for that reason. At least Eiryan did not want to kill him. No, just fuck him.
Flicker gave him a more lazy, welcoming smile when he came in. Flicker looked graceful and languid where he sat eating and drinking.
And he got to meet Fix, who was between Flicker and Forest. Fix was a slight thing, barely an inch taller then Valley, with short shocking pink hair. His skin was a shade of silvery pale purple. And his eyes were vibrant green. He had lovely, elfin features and a constant devious smile set to full lips. He waved happily at Valley to be welcoming in his own right.
Fair was the most stunning creature in the room. He was on the other side of Frost, hands folded lightly in his lap. His hair was white, his skin silvery white, his eyes liquid gold as were his lips and lashes. His features flowed smooth, with high cheek bones and a beautiful graceful form. Elegant. And the eyes were shocking in such a pale face. Yes, he was beautiful. And silent. He nodded to Valley at least.
The only one who seemed to have any hate toward him was Frost. For being the ice-queen he sure had the hottest temper. The feast carried out with shouting and obvious drunkenness on part of the soldiers. Eiryan kept his consumption of alcohol low. And he offered it only once to Valley. The teen ended up coughing till he thought his throat would turn inside out. It had burned. Eiryan had chuckled softly and said it was too much for him.
If felt like it was burning a hole in his stomach. But the feeling thankfully passed after a few minutes. Most of the food he did not recognize. A few things he did. Things taken from earth. He asked why they had taken such things.
“To replicate it. If we find something we like or that can be useful, we make use of it. Our growth rooms now have plenty of such things from your planet.” Eiryan replied.
“What...” Valley quieted. “What will happen to Earth?”
Eiryan sighed. “I suppose it is best I tell you now exactly what we are.” Valley felt uncomfortable suddenly. “We are pirates, pure and simple.”
Silence met him for a long moment. “What?”
“That is the word in your language that matches us. We are pirates. Our entire planet. I have loyal men because I scare the hell out of them.” Eiryan smiled faintly. Valley was not sure he believed that. The other seemed so...well, passive normally. “And it helps to kill a few of them now and again.” Nope, not passive. Nuts.
Eiryan set his glass down then. “Now, sing for us, my pet.” He murmured, running a fingertip down Valley’s slender throat. It made the teen shiver, half in fear, and half in pleasure. He stood up and silence began to fill the room. Crap. They had all been looking forward to this again. Frost looked even more pissed.
Jesus, what did he sing? A poem a friend had written and shown to him came to mind. Here was hoping she didn’t get pissed because he stole it for the moment. He drew in a deep breath and let it out slowly, keeping his eyes closed because he could not look at all those faces. He would be too nervous if he did.
“I am the Fire,
You’re greatest desire,
I awe and inspire,
You claim to be my sire,
But to me you will bow,
I am the master now,
For I am the Fire.”
Short, simple. Once he drew to a stop he finally opened his eyes and flushed at the looks they were given him. Most were lustful. That scared the hell out of him. At least it had appeased the masses though because they soon began to turn back to their own conversations and slaves. Valley sighed and moved to sit down. The he found himself dragged into Eiryan’s lap.
He nuzzled the other’s ear and murmured. “Are you my desire?” Oh god what had he brought down on his own head? Eiryan slid a hand along one of his thighs. Valley turned red.
“You can’t, not here!” He gasped when that large, wonderfully heated hand cupped him between his legs. He could not help but spread his thighs a little.
“Valley.” Eiryan whispered. “We’re going back to the room now.” Valley’s heart fell into his stomach where he knew a black hole had to be waiting.
